Nature NB's Festival of Nature is an annual fundraiser that brings together naturalists and nature lovers from across the province to discover nature in a particular region. The Festival of Nature offers participants a wide variety of field trips, workshops, and experiences to take it all in. This year they are excited to be hosting the event in Bathurst from June 1-3. On Tuesday, March 13th, the 2nd Hanwell Scouts and Venturer Scouts were invited to attend a sitting of the Legislature. While there, MLA Brian MacDonald formally recognized the Troop and Company for their achievement of winning the NB Council Pioneering award by holding a summer bike camp. Their achievement will now be permanently be recorded in the minutes of that session of Legislature. Congratulations guys! More »
