On behalf of the youth of NB Council, we would like to encourage and invite ALL SCOUTERS to take the Woodbadge I for Canadian Path. While we know training can be overwhelming, this course provides excellent in-depth information on the Canadian Path, allowing scouters and youth to become more comfortable with its material and resources and assisting Scouters in guiding youth to find the Canadian Path. NB Council is in the process of developing a Volunteer Development Network (Formerly known as “Training Network”). We are looking for one YOUTH member and one ADULT member from each of the areas within NB Council to serve on the network. As part of the NBVDN, members will be engaged in the development of our volunteers throughout New Brunswick. It is our sincere pleasure to announce the appointment of Emma Daamen as the Area Youth Commissioner for Rivorton Area, effective immediately. Emma is currently a member of the 1st Nashwaaksis Troop as a Scout. She’s been involved with Scouting for around three years. Scouting is one of her passions, and she hopes that she will be able to continue on her path of Scouting for many years to come. More »

Help us help thousands of Scouts from around the world to experience Canada in 2019! We are looking for Canadian Scouting Groups to help host World Jamboree participants in your local community before or after the World Jamboree in 2019. The Canadian Contingent (www.scouts.ca/WJ19) has agreed to help World Jamboree Units (each consisting of approximately 36 youth and 4 Scouters) twin with Canadian Scouting Groups in advance of the Jamboree in 2019.   More »
